An AMAZING day.

Yesterday I turned 32. That's right, and I can't believe I just typed it 3-2!!!! It sounds scaryingly close to 35 and then 40. Ooohhh man! Anyhow, it was an AMAZING and WONDERFUL day. I received calls and cards from family and friends afar, I spent the morning (after sleeping in and a wonderful breakfast made by Jeremy) with Jakey and Jeremy shopping at Costco and the grocery store, preparing for a special birthday dinner of my favorite...fajitas...made by Jeremy. He had invited his brother and wife and their kids over for dinner. This is my sweet sister-in-law I've told you about before that is letting me use her breadmaker and helped me with my wedding and threw me bachelorette party, and then when I was pregnant a baby shower and is just all around WONDERFUL. I don't know what I would do without her. Well...would you believe my DARLING and THOUGHTFUL husband planned ahead of time all these fun surprises and even secretly connected with a fairly new and wonderful friend Steph (who became a good friend through football season last year when Jeremy was coaching with Chris)to invite her to the dinner also! I was S-H-O-C-K-E-D. This is the first time I think I have been truly surprised by Jeremy. Usually I'm good at figuring out surprises, but not this time. I had no clue. Especially since I had coffee with her on Friday night and she didn't let anything slip! We had so much fun. Jeremy made margaritas and Kadie brought a SUPER YUMMY bean dip and we had the most wonderful fajitas ever followed by a wonderful cake that Jeremy made. We had the best time. I always have fun when Chris and Kadie are here and it was even more special because Jeremy was thoughtful enough to plan it out and invite Steph as a surprise. It was an AMAZING day and as I laid in bed Jeremy and I talked about the evening and a recap of all the funny and special moments and I just thought about how truly blessed I am. Jeremy did such a wonderful job planning this out, and buying me thoughtful gifts, and working hard to have everything perfect. I just can't believe that I am married to such a wonderful man. As time goes by I think I realize more and more that I am so lucky and that he loves me so much and just how blessed I really am to have him and Jakey.

So now, at 2:59 in the morning, I'm up blogging about this because I have the worst gas ever and it woke me up, so I'm sure it woke up Jeremy too. So, since that's so wonderfully embarassing and pitiful for sweet Jeremy to have thrown me an amazing party and be so great only to be woken up by his 32-year-old wife passing gas at night...I'm blogging in the other room, hoping the gas has passed and it's safe for me to get back in bed. GROSS and EMBARASSING.
