A heavy heart

I am writing this tonight with a heavy heart! Here's the long story (and please remember that there are no such thing as coincidences...God is always in control and things happen for a reason!): My sister-in-law told me there was some scare about the plastic in cloth diaper covers (I don't understand that because the plastic never touches their body so it can't be the BPA thing...I don't think???) (which I totally freaked out about so Jakey only used glass, etc.) and so I did a google search for cloth diaper --- (can't remember the last word I typed). Now I have done literally hundreds of searches using the words cloth and diaper and then whatever else and I never ever have come upon the company Denver Diaper Company, however, this time it was in the first few and I clicked on it and it was talking about a family...the fischer family...and contained a link to their blog. Now what caught my attention was that their daughter CiCi had choked at 11 months on her snack and had brain damage because of the lack of oxygen to her brain. Anyone who knows me knows I have a serious problem with OCD and anxiety and have worried about that exact thing happening many times. So I clicked on the link and read her story. Now, can I even tell you that my eyes welled up with tears and my heart sank as I read about what happened to this sweet baby girl. I believe their twins (CiCi is a twin) were born the day before Jakey. Their story is amazing and this mom is amazing and I know she will be an inspiration for so many people. They are amazing and I will keep them in my prayers...please keep them in yours too! We all can use prayers right now, huh?! By the way...J-train may have a new and better job opportunity. We will see. Please pray about that too.
