Putting the "oh!" back in sewing :)

Ok, so prude's beware...I'm putting the "oh!" back in sewing! I think people have the idea that women who like to sew are old, boring, homely, and just kinda dull. Maybe they don't...but sewing just isn't promoted as something that really hot people do, or even kinda hot people for that matter. I won't mention which (if any) category I'm in, BUT dang it's hot in here! I am posting my first picture on my blog and it's of a picture of J-train's valentine's present. Now...I am a stay at home mom, studying to be an MT through an amazing online school, and my sweet hard-working hubby only makes $12 an hour. So...we are ON A STRICT BUDGET. What did we do for valentine's day??? Well...thankfully....I had a return to make at Walmart and we used that money to buy some cheap mexican food and a bottle of champagne on sale and we are going to watch a movie and hang out! Sounds good to me! We exchanged cards (dollar store...holla!) and agreed not to do presents, but I had the best frugal idea ever about 2 months ago...so I saved and bought J-train some hot white boxer briefs from Ross (love it!) and used the embroidery function on my sewing maching to write "Hot Stuff" in bright red on the backside! See the attached picture. There you go....Valentine's day for way under $20. That's what I call a deal. Happy Valentines Day!!!

xoxo
