A Reality TV junkie

Ok, so I have to confess that I am a reality TV junkie. I love Project Runway, Top Chef, Flipping Out, America's Next Food Network Star, Design Star, and American Idol...of course. I also watched from beginning to end this time --- The Bachelor---and I loved every minute of it. Up until tonight that is. I loved Melissa and wanted them to end up together, and was smiling and almost crying when they did, and then I felt SO angry and almost like I had been played and this whole thing was a FAKE when the "after the rose ceremony" came on. Stupid show. I know my husband would say...it's TV....and he dated 25 girls at once, what did you think would happen. I thought she (Melissa) would end up with a prince charming (like I did!!!! I married my eharmony match made in heaven, who I swore the first time I saw his picture and was matched with him that this was the man I was going to marry). Anyhow, Melissa wasn't as upset as I would think she would have been. I mean come on...you don't break off an engagement on national TV. What a jerk. I know there's a part of me that thinks he's a good guy, but I think the way he handled that was totally inappropriate. That's what I think. I also was wondering if the whole thing was planned to happen that way...I never thought that until he started crying on the couch with Chris. A bunch of malarky. That's what I think!!!!!

But I'm not bitter, or angry, or anything like that. I know reality tv is totally dramatic, but I do love it and I'm totally going to tune in for part 2 of the after the rose ceremony tomorrow!

I'm a sucker.

I know.
